Inspired by the bravery and hope around the world in the face of the pandemic, I used the strong line of a ruler leading up to a brightened globe. Shot on an iphone 8-plus and using Snapseed to further brighten the edges and sharpen the worm’s eye view of the ruler, I hoped to capture the feeling of distance with a light at the end of the tunnel.

This image is a cluster of prayer candles, with the center candle illuminated. It was photographed from a bird's eye view using an iPhone. Even when I consider myself  a family man, this period of time I have been able to spend time with my son in a very different way. I can tell how difficult it is for a kid to be away from the school and his friends, but also how, in his everyday life he is with his parents, sharing his time and space with his parents. In all the days quarantine has been going on I can see how lonely he is. In this picture he is sleeping with her newborn sister.

If I have to choose a word is resilience and hope.
